Kilauea Volcano

Kilauea Volcano Erupts in Hawaii (2011).

The Telegraph:

The Kilauea volcano, one of five volcanoes that form the Big Island of Hawaii, has erupted putting on a spectacular display of flowing molten rock.

Officials have closed large parts of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which is visited by millions of tourists every year, until further notice.

Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes on the planet and has been continuously erupting since 1983, making it the longest rift-zone eruption of the last 200 years.

In January it destroyed several houses in the Kalapana area.
